Today I was talking to a very long time friend about his past relationship and it really got me thinking. How can people be so greedy? Why do people cheat? Is just love enough these days? I am a romantic at heart and I’ve always thought that love is enough. But being in a relationship, I know that there’s more to it than love to make it work. However, I’ve always tried to make sure in my relationship that ‘all you need is love’. Till this very day I could never grasp the concept on cheating on the other half. Why do people do it? Ok, maybe given certain circumstances I can understand why. I guess the real question I am asking is.. Why do people cheat even when their partner would give the whole world to them?

xxx says: if i do wanna provide a future for her

xxx says: i just want her to be happy

xxx says: i want her to be the happiest girl in the world

xxx says: i know she has her needs as well

xxx says: but thats all i can provide at the moment

xxx says: i really work hard

xxx says: i’ve even bought a ring for her

WTF right?? How to find guys like this anymore?!?!?! Guys like this are almost extinct!! Maybe this is the reason why they are almost extinct in the first place!! Pisses me off how people take things for granted all the time. Sigh. I don’t understand why people go through all the trouble…lying and cheating. I hate lies and whats worst is to lie even more to cover up lies. WTF? Trust never comes easy anymore these days and insecurity is my biggest flaw. I hate my insecurity so much. Hate having to doubt. Hate having the suspicsion all the time. Hate having to check up all the time. I feel like a bird in a cage not knowing when I will be free or if i will EVER be free.

Ok…I don’t know what i’m blogging about anymore. And please do not misinterpret this post with my current relationship with WS. Time to go to work now. *groans*

Finally some update ….

finally-some-update

It’s been a while since we last updated this site due to our very tight working schedule, most of the nights i sleep at 1 AM and wake at 6 AM. Funny though, I kinda enjoy it coz i dont feel stressed out at all even though i’m doing 2 jobs. Maybe it’s the ppl here .. lucky for me, i have fantastic colleagues and they make me feel like i’m having fun all the time instead of working. Now i understand why some ppl are so happy and satisfied with their job. Im glad that the ppl that i have met throughout these 7 months have been very friendly , super duper nice and most importantly … genuine =). We come from totally different backgrounds and countries, but everyone is treated EQUAL here. I guess coming here is propably the best decision i have ever made in my entire life, there are so many wonderful places that i could reach easily without worrying about the distance, time and money. This year we plan to travel the whole Europe and hopefully next year we will cover most of the places in United States. I’m planning to get my 1st ever tatoo at Miami Ink !!! Hopefully they will come up with some interesting custom designs instead of those boring tribals.

July will be a crazy month … i mean fucking crazy wicked month. It’s gonna be our 1st summer in Europe and i’m gonna make sure this is gonna be an unforgetable one. First off, on the 5th, we will be heading back to Amsterdam for the 2nd time since February for the biggest dance event in the world, SENSATION WHITE. As reported in the offical forum , all 40,000 tickets were sold out within 1 hr 30mins of the official release time. It was like a warzone with extremely heavy traffic on the website and telephone line.It blardy took me 45 mins to have finally secured 4 tickets.

The theme for this year is ‘Ocean Of White’ (Topless Mermaids ? =)~ ), and as the event name suggests, everyone has to be dressed in white in order to get in. I think its a good mixture of house and trance music coz u get alot of ‘nice & pretty’ crowd from all over the world. We will be going with Richard and Kim, meeting Tauseef, Omar and another friend where they will begin their Euro trip after the party at Amsterdam Arena. Play the trailer below now!

Coming middle of the month, we will head down to Brussels, Belgium to visit one my Jolyne’s relatives for a couple of days. From there, we are gonna take a train to Dortmund, Germany for Love Parade 2008 “Highway to Love”. This event is VERY massive … as in 1.2 MILLION people attended the previous one.  Club and Event promoters will have their selected DJs to pump out musics from the floats along the street to promote thier names. Check the video below for Tiesto’s set, it was amazing when it happened in Berlin. I need to arrange a good meeting point with Tauseef, it’s gonna be sooooo damn packed.

End of July will be a relax and party summer break. WE ARE GOING TO IBIZA !!! Shame that we are gonna miss Global Gathering coz our flight is scheduled on Saturday night itself. Well, nothing to be sad of actually hehe coz we gonna catch Tiesto live @ Privilege (world’s biggest club) on Monday night and Armin Van Buuren @ Amnesia on Tuesday night.

We will be going to the legendary Pacha on Sunday night and enjoy the beautiful sunset with chill out background music everyday @ Cafe Del Mar. Can’t wait …Can’t waittt. Tauseef and friends are gonna be taking a boat from Valencia, Spain to Ibiza Island. I guess this will be our last time partying together till we meet again in South Africa for World Cup 2010 !

Blogging at work…

blogging-at-work

I’m currently blogging from work! It’s very quiet at work today and there’s absolutely nothing for me to do! I’ve visited my daily dosage of websites and blogs and there is nothing else for me to read!! I’m boreeeeeddddzzzzz……. My boss had better not read this or i’ll be dead! Haha. The general manager called in sick today and the sales manager is out in the field, so no one is breathing down my neck today! So so nice! :D It’s going to be a super long weekend because Monday will be Spring Bank Holiday, whatever that is! Haha. As long as it comes with the word bank holiday, that’s fine by me! :D WS and his friends had initially planned to head out to Brighton for a road trip on Sunday with this baby!!

307 CC

But *sigh* the weather forecast looks like crap! *Sings ~ Rain rain go away, come again another day!!* WHY does it have to rain when we’ve got a nice long weekend off?!?! WHY HUHHHH? :( Nevermind. We will still be having steamboat on Saturday @ Kim’s place! Yey! I miss having steamboat back home! A packet of fishball here cost like £3!!?? I could buy a bucket full of fishballs from the market in Malaysia with that! However, I’m glad I will be able to have very good sambal to go with the steamboat. Thanks to my dad who made me a whole tub. MADE with heart and soul. No wonder it tastes so good! =) and HOT! Just the way I like it. Thanks daddy! <3

On another note, yesterday was the last day for one of my managers at my other job. (Yes, I’ve got two jobs. See how hardworking I am! :P ) There were pizzas, champagne (Yums!), beer and liquor for everyone! And I was even in her special thank you speech! *Awwww..* I’m going to miss her lots. She’s the only manager who treated us and especially me, like a friend and not someone of a higher post. Well, I wish her well and am happy she has finally made the decision to step out of the norm and into something new!! :)  Don’t know why, I’m so all for that these days. LoL.

Time to get back to work now….or at least act like i’m doing some work. =P

First Post…..

first-post

Hello…….Dolly!! You’re lookin’ swell, Dolly!! Haha…Just thought of that song out of the blue while I was thinking of how I should start writing the very first post. Yes, all our old posts has gone with the current move from expression engine to wordpress. I prefer the old look but can’t seem to get it to work the exact same way because the coding is so different. :( Oh well, change is inevitable and as stubborn as we can be, most of the time it is for the better. =)

Anyways, it took me so long to get it done because I didnt have any time at all last week! Plus my laptop’s adapter decided to die on me! Thank god for amazon.co.uk!! *lol* No, but seriously, thank god! If it had died in Malaysia, I would probably have to wait and be deprived for a long time to get Dell to send it all the way from err…..Penang??!! With amazon, I got it early in the morning the very next day!!! Haha. Omg, promoting for amazon here, they should pay me! =P

The blog isn’t completed yet but i will keep adding new things as we go along the way. I’m starting to get a hang of wordpress! :D

Anyways, it has been 7 months and 14 days since we came to London. Time really does go by without us even realising it. Winter has come and gone (Thank god!) and now spring is slowly but surely creeping in. Yet, the very moment we arrived London, looking for our accomodation, remains so fresh in my mind. The first month was obviously the hardest, with us trying to settle down and get accustomed to the life here. Firstly, we had to carry our luggages up and down the tube because we did not want to waste money on a taxi (very very expensive ok!). The first accomodation we had here was CRAP!! But it wasn’t a choice as we knew of no one here and the only way to know the layout of the room were a few tiny pictures posted up on the website. AND when we got there, the picture did not even look half the way it was supposed to. The room had no lock so we insisted on another room which had two separate beds and only ONE blanket. Wtf?!?! So being a gentleman, WS had to sleep in the cold!! Again, WTF?!?!?!!! We could not connect to the crappy Internet they had, hence we had to waste money in cybercafes looking for a new place to stay. The kitchen was a mess, hence we ate out everytime, surviving on pizzas and kebabs. We had initially planned to stay at that place for at least two weeks, taking our own sweet time to look for a new place but OMG we were out within 5 days! The stupid russian landlord tried to force us into staying there for 2 weeks but NO WAY in hell!! We ended up paying for a week’s rent eventhough we stayed for only 5 days. Bloody hell! But we were so so glad to move into our new (and current) place! It’s clean and wooden floored <3 !!! Oh oh!! And the cheapest accomodation for two EVER! So so SO lucky to find it! It’s a very very tiny room but I’m happy with it. Besides the occasional visit from our pain-in-the-ass landlord!!! LoL!

The street we live on

The street we live on, which is coincidentally called London Road

The high street is just a stone throw away and we have the Bakerloo, Jubilee and Metropolitan underground nearby. And not to forget the Wembley stadium and Wembley Arena! :D

Many have questioned our crazy idea to leave everything behind. But I think that was our point. To step into the unfamiliar and to gain a whole new perspective. Sure, it’s never easy to leave your comfort zone and sometimes we feel as though we want to break down and go home. But I believe this has made us stronger. We’ve seen and experienced so many new things and It has opened up our minds and the world of many possibilities. I’ve never felt so free and independant in my life and every decision I make is mine alone.

The experience has definitely made us stronger emotionally and physically (no car here ok! Only two legs, bus and tube *lol*)! We have to cook, clean the house, room and toilet, do the laundry, get groceries and pay for everything ourselves! No car, no maid, no parents, no nothing but our very own two hands! And im bloody proud of that! Wahahahaha!! Its different from a student studying overseas ok!! We pay with our own hard earn money where else most student have the benefit of parents’ money! That being said based on when I was studying here 4 years ago. I definitely appreciate things more and instead of focusing on life back home like I did as a student, I’m more focused on life here now!

Looking back, I think the hardest part for us would be the very last day here in London. I’ve grown to love the city and our life here so much, I don’t know how we’re going to leave it all behind. *sigh* But thats another 1 year, 4 months and 16 days to go……..

Before Before I finish off this post, I take this opportunity to thank all those that have supported us and our decision when everyone else had their doubts on us. =) Especially my parents. If you ever get to read this, thank you Mum and Dad from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for supporting this crazy and wild idea to move to London and do whatever my heart desires. And of course, to my other half who is on this journey with me, thank you for your love, sacrifices and support. *muacks* Love <3!
